A lovely message from Candy Chang

I sent this blog to Candy Chang to show how her idea had been  tried here,  and she wrote back!

Hi Rebecca,

Thanks so much for sharing - this is wonderful! I really love your remix with specific buildings highlighted, and the responses are so revealing and thoughtful. We will add this to the site soon. Thanks again!

Whitestone Gallery used post it wishes!

I was at the gallery at 9:30 p.m.  during nuit blanche to get ready for a painting project and enjoyed watching people read the notes in the alcove and add some ideas of their own. Here are a few photographs from that installation. If you click on the photograph it will enlarge. I will add higher resolution photo's once the project wraps up. Thanks for reading!

Lots of ideas at 10 Carden St. during Nuit Blanche!

When I stopped by 10 Carden this morning to pick up the project, the staff asked if  it could stay up longer to see if more people wanted to add their ideas.  We moved it from the back room onto the wall above the coffee maker in the main room. I left post-it notes and a marker and will return next week to see what is new.
Here are some of the really wonderful, funny, creative, and respectful ideas that you shared at 10 Carden during nuit blanche. Thanks!

Wow! The  participation at nuit blanche was great and there are post-it notes all around the photographs. I will be collecting them tomorrow from Whitestone Gallery  and 10 Carden and posting the ideas here over the week. Here is a shot of the alcove at Whitestone Gallery.

There was a tweet of a photo on flickr of one of  the red and white stickers with a mention that the photographer thought they were available for use  around town. It was intended for people to use them at the nuit blanche locations to sticker around the photographs. One of the hosts at Whitestone Gallery mentioned that someone took the stack of stickers at the end of the evening. Must have a lot of wishes!

Just found this iteration of I wish this was in Montreal.
